Great Adventure in Iguazú: Boat Excursion to the Waterfalls

The Great Adventure begins at the Visitor Center, near the entrance to the Iguazú National Park on the Argentine side.

There, you will board a 4×4 truck that will take you through the Yacaratiá and Puerto Macuco trails, delving into the Misiones jungle. During this 5-kilometer journey, a bilingual guide will teach you about the ecosystem of the area.

After this introduction to the jungle, you must descend about 150 steps to reach the dock. Here, equipped with life jackets and provided with waterproof bags to protect your personal items, you will embark on a boat that will take you upstream.

During this 6-kilometer water journey, you can contemplate the landscape that combines the river and the jungle, enjoying the view of small waterfalls and the scenery of the place.

The highlight of the excursion will be the approach to the imposing falls of the Garganta del Diablo, San Martín, and Tres Mosqueteros. Here, you will experience the famous “baptism of the mists,” a unique experience where you will immerse yourself under the waterfalls, feeling the force and majesty of the water.

This will be the ideal moment to take memorable photographs, capturing the essence of the Iguazú Falls.

After this exciting experience, you will begin the return to the dock, where you must climb the stairs to board the truck.

The entire experience lasts approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes.
