Itinerary

Once all passengers have been picked up at their respective hotels, the vehicle will go to the Argentinean park to visit the Iguazu Falls.

There you will visit 3 circuits:

  • Lower Circuit: There you will visit a circuit of approximately 1,700 meters where you can see the Iguazu Falls from below. Also, at the end of the tour you can get close to a waterfall where you can get wet in the waters of the river. Keep in mind that there are some stairs in this circuit.
  • Upper Circuit: The ideal circuit for photographers, as it has beautiful panoramic views of the falls. This is a route of approximately 1750 meters, with few stairs.
  • Devil’s Throat: Taking the ecological jungle train, this circuit of approximately 1200 meters allows you to go to one of the main attractions of the national park. Watching the river fall is an unforgettable experience, with the sound and the mist wetting you.

If the excursion allows you to take the boat ride, it will generally take place at noon. Although the guide will inform the passengers about this so that they can consider it.

Lunch is also taken around noon. In the park there are several places to have lunch: Selva Restaurant, Meliá Iguazú (a 5-star hotel), or take something from the local stores.

At the end of the tour, transportation will take passengers to their hotels. Some activities (generally private) offer the possibility of visiting the main attractions of Puerto Iguazú, such as the Hito de las 3 Fronteras and La Aripuca.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! This excursion is viable for older people or those with reduced mobility. But we suggest that it is done at a light pace as the heat can be heavy for some people. If needed, the park has wheelchairs adapted to visit the park. If in doubt, consult the park rangers to find out the best way to visit the park.

No doubt about it! During the visit to the Argentinean park you can see not only beautiful landscapes, but also animals of all kinds such as coatis or caí monkeys that roam around the park. At the same time, getting wet with the waters of the falls is a fun experience.

Absolutely! The Iguazu Falls area has the peculiarity of having strong rains that end quickly due to its subtropical climate. That means you can take shelter during your visit to the park under a roof and even continue exploring, as it is very common to end up wet from the mist of the waterfalls on this visit (not to mention if you do the Gran Aventura/Great Adventure boat tour, there you end up completely soaked), and therefore it’s easy to find raincoats to protect against the rain.
