February is just around the corner, which will bring a series of unique events and popular parties to the city of Calafate.

Through this month, each year the city adjacent to the Perito Moreno Glacier dresses up for a party to commemorate the Baptism of the Argentine Lake, preparing for the National Lake Festival, with sports events, tradition shows, and a huge closing with live music.

Next weekend, Saturday 03 and Sunday 04 of February, the Festival of Jineteada will take place at the Hielos Continentales rodeo field, where the best riders will compete, demonstrating their skill in different categories of gaucho traditions for a millionaire prize.

Simultaneously with the Jineteada, there will be a parade throughout the central area of Calafate City and other skill competitions.

On the other hand, from the 13th to the 17th of February at the Forest Amphitheater, you can enjoy a series of artists from different genres, with free admission.
