The national airline has agreed with officials from the city of Santa Cruz to increase flights during the low season.
Following the conclusion of the World Travel Market in São Paulo, the Tourism Secretariat of El Calafate returned from the fair with a significant agreement with Aerolíneas Argentinas for the low season period. They also promoted the destination and established strategic alliances with other important destinations in our country.

In this regard, after meeting with the airline’s president, Fabian Lombardo, they managed to increase flights from Buenos Aires by 50%, starting in May with 21 weekly flights. This number could increase in the future if demand rises.
This way, El Calafate adds a new tool alongside the discounts offered by different businesses for the 2024 low season.
