Aerolíneas Argentinas: Routes to Puerto Iguazú and El Calafate Suspended

Aerolíneas Argentinas Routes to Puerto Iguazú and El Calafate Suspended

Two destinations from a long list of cities will no longer be served by the state-owned company until the winter holidays.

Aerolíneas Argentinas has announced the temporary suspension of several air routes, with more cities being added as time goes on.

The decision, as estimated by the company, is due to the low demand typically seen between April and June, compounded by the lack of incentives like PreViaje.

They have also mentioned that many routes will resume in early July, along with the initiation of a program to increase frequencies for certain air routes, which was planned for the first half of 2024.

On the other hand, to boost tourism during the low season, some cities have opted for their own local discount programs for travelers.
