Yes! Aljibe Tango is always open on those dates. However, on December 24 and 31, they offer a special dinner show to celebrate the occasion, with a different price.

Aljibe Tango is open Monday to Friday from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM for lunch. Every day from 6:00 PM onward, tango lessons and wine tastings begin and continue until around 11:00 PM, when guests are transported back to their hotels.

The show is performed in Spanish, but there are only a few spoken parts. The staff at the venue provides service not only in Spanish but also in English.

We recommend using the transportation services offered by Aljibe Tango. However, if you need to return on your own, the tango house is just a few meters from Avenida Belgrano, where you can easily find a taxi.

To guarantee a private table at Aljibe Tango, it’s best to book the VIP upgrade. If you choose the regular service, seating is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. It is possible to get a private table this way, but especially during high season, you may have to share a table with other guests.

Although you might end up sharing a table sometimes, Aljibe Tango is not a large or massive venue. In fact, it’s quite small compared to other tango houses, with only 24 tables, which makes the experience more intimate.

It’s a full show that features traditional tango performed by professional dancers of various ages, live music with a bandoneón, singing performances, and also showcases of Argentine folklore and gauchos with boleadoras. It lasts approximately 90 minutes.
