The First Edition of “Volar 2025” Arrives at Iguazú Falls

With a unique approach combining training sessions, talks, and nature conservation, Puerto Iguazú is getting ready to host the first International Birdwatchers Meeting.

From September 5 to 7, there will be a variety of activities for those interested in joining this inaugural birdwatching gathering. All activities are free, but participants must register in advance through the following form.

The agenda for the first weekend of September includes keynote lectures, workshops, educational activities for children, and birdwatching outings to important natural areas such as Iguazú National Park, Urugua-í Provincial Park, and the Mbya Guaraní community of Itá Poty Mirí. There will also be an art fair featuring nature-focused entrepreneurs.

This event, organized in collaboration between the Ministry of Tourism of Misiones and the Argentine Bird Association (Aves Argentinas), aims to promote Misiones as a nature tourism destination and to build a community of birdwatchers dedicated to protecting the natural environment.
