Reopening of the Devil's Throat Postponed

At this time, a new date for the reopening of the main attraction of Iguazu Falls remains unknown.

Late in the afternoon of Friday, July 12, 2024, the authorities of the Iguazu National Park announced on their social media platforms that the reopening of the Devil’s Throat has been postponed.

In an Instagram post, Iguazu Argentina reported that due to a significant rise in the Iguazu River, caused by heavy rains in Southern Brazil, they have decided to implement protection protocols for the new walkways and railings of the circuit.

Lastly, they mentioned that they will be monitoring the water body’s rising levels to announce a new public access date to the Devil’s Throat.
