The meeting, which was attended by representatives of the Chambers and Associations of concessionaires and service providers related to tourism, considered the data provided by Iguazú Turismo Ente municipal, who reported that reservations already exceed 80%, so it was decided to apply the protocol of mass visits.

This decision establishes that, for next week’s long weekend, from October 13 to 16, the waterfall area will be open early, establishing the entrance time to the National Park at 7:30 am for Saturday October 14 and Sunday October 15.

In addition, another measure that is part of the protocol will be to encourage tourists to use different passenger transportation services, both public and private, in order to avoid traffic congestion in the park’s parking lot.
