Devil’s Throat in Iguazu Closed: When Will It Reopen? (May 2024)

In early November 2023, the Iguazu National Park closed the Devil’s Throat due to walkway damage caused by a significant rise in water levels. Since then, the circuit has remained closed to visitors.

However, since February 2024, Iguazu Argentina has been working to repair the walkways and make them operational for its visitors.

As of May 2024, Iguazu Argentina is in the final stages of repairing the Devil’s Throat in Iguazu Falls.

They recently shared on their Instagram account the arrival of materials for the reconstruction of the walkway.

When is the Devil’s Throat expected to reopen?

Iguazu Argentina mentioned that the goal is to reopen the Devil’s Throat circuit of the Iguazu Falls for the winter holidays, that is, around July 2024.

Although there is no exact confirmation of the opening date yet.
