Devil’s Throat in Iguazu Closed: When Will It Reopen? (Updated July 2024)

In early November 2023, the Iguazu National Park closed the Devil’s Throat due to walkway damage caused by a significant rise in water levels. Since then, the circuit has remained closed to visitors.

However, since February 2024, Iguazu Argentina has been working to repair the walkways and make them operational for its visitors.

What is the current state of the Devil’s Throat

After more than 6 months of being closed, the Devil’s Throat has been open to the public since July 16, 2024.

When is the Devil’s Throat expected to reopen?

After the rise of the Iguazu River, on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, Iguazu Argentina confirmed that the circuit of the Devil’s Throat at the Iguazu Falls opened to the general public.
