Next Sunday, May 17th, Mendoza will participate in a worldwide event.
For the second year, the capital of Mendoza will host a recently created celebration that seeks to combine self-care, awareness with style and identity: Mendoza Hat Walk 2026.
It is a walk that will take place in General San Martín Park. It is a free activity, although prior registration is required. As its name indicates, participants must wear a hat of any type.
The walk will begin at 11:00 AM and will start from Los Portones del Parque and end at the Moyano Museum. During the route, the group will pass through places like El Rosedal and the Fountain of the Continents.
After arriving at the museum, there will be several activities to enjoy the afternoon, such as live music, exhibitions by different hat makers who will participate, and an entrepreneurs’ fair. Likewise, the organizer, Noelia Roldán, invites people to bring blankets to enjoy the afternoon.
The organizer, Noelia Roldán, is an artist and designer, along with the support of Creative Industries from the Undersecretariat of Culture of Mendoza, the Argentine Society of Dermatology, the Parks Department, and the Moyano Museum.
Since 2024, with the creation of World Hat Walk and the unification of the event, the walk takes place simultaneously in major cities like Berlin, Tokyo, or Barcelona. It is a cultural gathering that seeks to celebrate individual identity and connect individuals through the everyday act of wearing a hat.
