This Saturday night, the city of Mendoza will enjoy a unique show filled with energy, tradition, and cultural expression. “Malambo Argentino” is coming to town — for one night only!
Tickets are now available on Entradaweb or at the theater’s box office for $10,000.
On Saturday, July 19, the country’s top malambo dancers will take the stage at Teatro Independencia. These champions from Argentina’s most important folklore festivals — Cosquín, the National Festival of Malambo in Laborde, and the National Women’s Malambo Championship — will perform in an unforgettable evening of rhythm and heritage.
The event will feature an incredible lineup of performers, including:
- National champions from the Laborde Festival: Maximiliano Ramírez, Marcos Vázquez, Sergio Pérez, and Sergio Salazar. Also joining them will be Laborde’s runner-up, Nicolás Ferreira.
- Female Malambo National Champion: Judit Montero, along with runner-up Noelia Barrionuevo.
- Yamila Aguado, the first-ever female national malambo champion and a standout performer at Pre-Cosquín.
In addition to the individual stars, the event will include performances by two local dance companies:
- Ballet de la Ciudad de Mendoza
- Ballet Tierra Gaucha
