Within a month, the City of Buenos Aires will experience one of the most anticipated nighttime events that brings together hundreds of residents and tourists: Museums Night 2025 is coming.
On Saturday, November 8th between 7:00 PM and 2:00 AM on Sunday, November 9th, the different national museums, city museums, and cultural spaces will open their doors to all the public freely and for free. In addition to being able to visit the buildings and tour the exhibitions, there will also be shows both inside the institutions and on the city streets.

For one night, the Federal Capital will showcase the great range of artistic proposals hidden in the different neighborhoods of the city. From the southern sector, visitors will be able to discover spaces like the Modern Museum in San Telmo or the Benito Quinquela Martin Museum in La Boca. Meanwhile, in the north, spaces like the Spanish Art Museum, the Larreta Museum, or the Sarmiento Historical Museum will open, all located in the Belgrano neighborhood. Palermo and Recoleta are other places where culture has multiple spaces like M.A.L.B.A., the Decorative Arts Museum, or the Eduardo Sívori Fine Arts Museum, or the National Museum of Fine Arts. Finally, in the Microcentro, in addition to having an enormous number of open doors to discover art, it will also be possible to visit architectural marvels like the Buenos Aires Legislature, the Waterworks Palace, the National Congress along with classics like the Colón Theater, the Cabildo, and the Cathedral.
With confirmation from the Government of the City of Buenos Aires pending, as every year it is expected that more than 300 museums, cultural spaces, and historic buildings located in the different Buenos Aires neighborhoods will participate. The announcement for free use of public transportation during the night is also expected.
