Four meetings designed for residents and tourists to explore neighborhoods and emblematic points of the city with a historical and architectural perspective. Free activity.
The Ministry of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires invites lovers of history, architecture and walks to discover or remember the secrets of the Federal Capital: “Buenos Aires: four moments of its history” arrives.
From tomorrow, Tuesday January 27, 2026 until February 24, a series of guided tours through the City of Buenos Aires will be held, led by Buenos Aires historian Leonel Contreras. During the meetings 4 different circuits of the city will be visited, passing through highlighted points such as Lezama Park, San Martín Square, Lavalle Square and Plaza de Mayo, among others.
The proposal invites participants to look at and learn about the evolution of the architecture of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, in tune with the different national historical moments proposed by the historian, which include: foundation of the city, viceroyalty, independence, Belle Époque up to the present.
Those who wish to take the circuits only need to show up at the starting point of the tour at the corresponding time. The activity is open and free, without prior registration, no limit on capacity and with guide in Spanish. The activity has an estimated duration of 3 hours; it is recommended to bring water.
