The festive spirit continues in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. After the lighting of the Christmas Tree at the Obelisk, the holiday cheer moves to Plaza del Congreso this Friday.
On Friday, December 13, 2024, the Christmas Shopping Fair will take place. This charming little market will be held at Plaza del Congreso from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, offering a fun-filled afternoon for everyone.

Alongside the stalls, visitors can enjoy various activities during the afternoon. You can take photos next to the Christmas tree, join a free cookie-making workshop, or simply relax while listening to live music.
The main attraction of the event will be the newly restored Monument to the Two Congresses. With free admission for small groups, visitors can access “The Allegory of the Republic” as its gates open for the public.
As the day draws to a close, you’ll have the chance to enjoy the fountain and its sound system. At 7:30 PM, the event will end with the dancing water show, as the fountain springs to life to the tune of Christmas carols.
