The ship will not only visit the coast, but also take part in the tribute to the fallen crew members of the ARA San Juan.

Tomorrow, Thursday, August 29th, the Training Ship “Esmeralda” will arrive at the Mar del Plata Naval Base.

The vessel, currently on its 68th training voyage, will open its doors to the public on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. Visitors will also have the opportunity to tour the Ocean Patrol Vessel ARA “Piedrabuena.”  

On Friday, August 30th, the crew of the ship will pay tribute to the 44 crew members of the ARA “San Juan” submarine at the Submarine Force Museum.
