Iguazú Falls Reconstruction Works Begin at the Devil's Throat

After being closed for over three months due to an unusual rise in the river’s water levels, the repair works on the Devil’s Throat Circuit(Garganta del Diablo in spanish) have been authorized.

Following a crucial meeting between Iguazú Argentina’s president, Roberto Enríquez, and the new Secretary of Tourism, Environment, and Culture, Daniel Scioli, it was agreed to commence the restoration works on the walkways of the Devil’s Throat.

Enríquez mentioned that he couldn’t provide an estimated reopening date post-repairs: “We need to assess the walkways and their current condition to diagnose when they can be reopened.”
