Christmas classic: “Misa Criolla” in Córdoba

With just a few days left until Christmas, a very special concert will take place in the capital of Córdoba on Saturday, December 21, 2024: the “Misa Criolla.”

This musical piece, created by Argentine composer Ariel Ramírez, will be performed at the Iglesia de la Compañía de Jesús at 9:00 PM. Admission is free for everyone. Along with this iconic work, the choirs will also present another piece by Ramírez: “Nuestra Navidad.”

The “Misa Criolla“ is a musical work that uniquely blends the prayers of the Roman Rite Holy Mass with the vibrant rhythms of Argentine folklore. This fusion has made it one of the most significant and beloved religious compositions in our cultural heritage.
