Buenos Aires Subway Updates Ticket Prices

The Buenos Aires subway system experienced its second fare increase of the year.

The subway fare in Buenos Aires has been updated. As of this Tuesday, October 1st, a new rate is in effect for traveling around the city. The ticket price is now $757 for the subway network that operates in the Federal Capital.

This fare applies to users with a registered SUBE card, while those who prefer not to associate their personal information with the card will pay $860 for a subway ticket.

The Buenos Aires subway system is an incredibly useful and fast way to reach some of the city’s most famous tourist attractions, including:

Recoleta neighborhood: famous for its cemetery, as well as various museums and the Law School building (Line H).
Microcentro: where you can visit many restaurants, theaters like the iconic Colón Theater, or see the Obelisk (Line B).
Palermo neighborhood: known for its large green spaces, such as the Botanical Garden, Rose Garden, or Japanese Garden (Line D).
